MIXING a piece of music involves many steps in order to produce a harmonious sound. Through the use of EQ, compression, effects, volume balance, etc. the sounds are tweaked and arranged to make sure everything has it's place in the mix. Below are some examples showing before and after mixes.
Black Cat Sounds now offers REMOTE MIXING which can be done anywhere in the world. Simply upload your WAV/AIF files to our dropbox and tell us a little bit about what you'd like out of your song. Andy will mix your tracks and bring out the best in your music, while keeping an open dialogue to ensure the artistic vision/integrity is achieved and not diminished. The process is simple and it's a great way to breathe new life into an old project that needs some TLC or a song that needs a new set of ears.
